Athletic Academic Program

Grade Check- Done at Mid Quarters, Quarters, and at Semester

Academic Probation- Put on probation if failing more then one class.           

• Probation length:  First week following grade check.
• Required to attend after school study hall 3:15-4:00-late to practice.
• Once students have attended 3 sessions - can get another grade check.
• If grade check shows no more then one failing grade- student off of probation
• If grade check shows more then one failing grade- they become ineligible to participate in athletic competition.

Ineligibility- Ineligible if still more then one failing grade after a week of academic probation.

• Ineligibility begins the Monday following the first week of probation.
• Student cannot participate in athletic contests until no more then one failing grade appears on the students grade check.
• Students are required to continue to attend the study hall after school to work on improving grades.
• Students will continue the 3 study hall sessions followed with a grade check until no more the one failing grade appears on the grade check.
• Once a student shows no more then one failing grade they become eligible to participate and no longer are required to attend the study hall sessions.
