Transcripts are produced by the registrar, Mrs. Jodi Vanek, from her office located within the attendance office. Transcripts must be requested in writing with a signature of the student if age 18 or above and a parent if student is under 18 years of age. Official transcripts cannot be faxed. The school will mail out one official final transcript the first week of June following graduation IF the student has completed a blue final transcript request card. Blue transcript cards can be picked up in the registrar's office and turned into Mrs. Vanek. New this year for students going to UNL. IF UNL does not receive final transcript by June 15th the student will be in jeopardy of having their first semester registration cancelled.
Students must request their transcripts for colleges and scholarships they are applying to--colleges cannot be sent transcripts without the signed release from students/parents. If you have questions about transcripts, please contact LNS Registrar, Mrs. Jodi Vanek at 436-1305 option 1
Most applications for admission and for scholarships will require the submission of an official high school transcript. This is the official school record of enrollment history, courses taken with grades received (organized by semester), current classes, class rank, and GPA. In order to release a copy of this information the registrar must received a signed form indicating the institution or organization it is being released to, including the mailing address and appropriate postage if she is to mail it. If the student is under 18, the parent/guardian must sign the request form.
The registrar's office is located within the attendance office. Mrs. Jodi Vanek's hours are 7:30-3:30, and her office is closed during her lunch.
