Gator Galaxy Goes Live!
By Christina Nevitt, Advisor
The Gator Galaxy is finally taking the technological jump. Yes, we are live!
This year North Star’s newspaper is accessible via the world wide web.
We will still be publishing a monthly print edition, but the website will be a way for students to stay up-to-date on all things North Star in between distribution dates.
We are very excited about this new development. We hope you will come back often to find out what your favorite Gators are up to!

Counselors Assigned to Students in New Way!
In order to BEST meet the needs of our students, we are changing the way we serve our students.
Counselors will continue to specialize in Career Interest areas but are assigned to students differently starting this year. |
|
- Grade 9 students are now assigned by Team. 10th-12th grade students are now assigned alphabetically by last names. We hope that this will make it possible for us to provide continuity for students and get to know families. We also think this will make it easier for parents and teachers to identify a student's counselor.
- Counselor assignments for the 2009-10 school year are:
- The Counseling Center website
