LINCOLN NORTH STAR HIGH SCHOOL STANDOUT, JERALYN POE, NAMED GATORADE NEBRASKA GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE YEAR

In its 28th year of honoring the nation's best high school athletes, The Gatorade Company, in collaboration with USA TODAY High School Sports, today announced Jeralyn Poe of Lincoln North Star High School as its 2012-13 Gatorade Nebraska Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year. Poe is the first Gatorade Nebraska Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year to be chosen from Lincoln North Star High School.

Athletic Academic Support Program

The LNS Athletic Department has a program designed to support our student athletes in academics by helping them be successful in the classroom as well in the athletic arena. The program is in place for all athletes and is a supportive system.
